JHFoster helps VEX Robotics prepare the next generation for a future of innovation and robotics.
JHFoster is proud to have recently sponsored the VEX Robotics Competition held at the Rivers Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud, MN on February 1st & 2nd. The participants were middle and high school students working together in teams to create, program and compete with a robot.
The VEX Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the largest and fastest growing middle school and high school robotics program globally with more than 20,000 teams from 50 countries playing in over 1,700 competitions worldwide. Each year, an exciting engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, build innovative robots and compete year-round.
In addition to learning valuable engineering skills, students gain life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, communication, collaboration, project management, and critical thinking. The VEX Robotics Competition prepares students to become future innovators with 95% of participants reporting an increased interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) subject areas and pursuing STEM-related careers.
JHFoster has a vested interest in robotics. We distribute an array of 1-6 axis robotics (Linear, SCARA, Collaborative and traditional robots) along with robotic accessories and are fully equipped to address any automation challenge by engineering robotic solutions to help meet your production demands. Our collaborative robots deliver precision handling, flexibility and payload and work alongside humans with no safety guarding. Our dedicated group of mechanical and electrical engineers are ready to help you qualify, budget and integrate your custom projects – you can now automate virtually anything with robots.
What would be the ROI of a robotic system designed for your company?
