John Henry Foster Donates $1k

On March 18, John Henry Foster attended Vineyard’s Community Services Fruit of the Vine Food Shelf Spring Spree, which is a fundraiser event that included dinner, a comedian and silent auction. JHFoster donated $1k. All donates were matched by the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches.

“It was a fun event. Very good dinner with dessert, a funny comedian and many items to bid on in the Silent Auction,” said Bobbie Halling, John Henry Foster’s Credit Administrator.

As a community organization Vineyard Community Service’s vision is to extend the truth, power, and love of God to build friendships and perpetuate compassion within our communities, one life at a time.

Their mission is to serve families and individuals in times of need. We encourage with words that create hope and with deeds that bring joy, and:

  • welcome all who enter our doors as equals, respecting their dignity and accepting them as best we can without judgment;
  • encourage those we serve to develop their capacity for independence;
  • are thrifty with our resources, generous in our hospitality, and responsible to the communities that support us; and
  • welcome all who are willing to join us in loving service to our neighbors.

Fruit of the Vine is committed to serving individuals and families in crisis to meet their basic needs and provide opportunities for self sufficiency.
