John Henry Foster expands portfolio to include robots
Introducing Universal Robots
JHF is proud to announce a new and exciting addition to our automation line of products – Universal Robots’ industrial robot arms.
The three main products that make up this line are the compact table-top robot, the flexible robot arm and the UR 10, being the largest one.
All three are six-jointed robot arms designed for extreme flexibility, heavy-duty lifting ability and are surprisingly lightweight.
Easily programmable and designed for speed and accuracy, each of the robots’ joints can rotate through +/- 360° and up to 180 degrees per second. These robots are termed “Collaborative Robots” (cobots), meaning they can work right alongside personnel with no safety guarding. Safety settings for these latest robots can be adjusted for each specific solution and can run in two operating modes of safety functions; a normal and a reduced one.
Due to their low weight and size, these robot arms are mainly used in small to medium-sized companies such as packaging, automotive, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, metal working, and manufacturing. These low-cost robots are the perfect fit for unique applications since they are completely customizable.
Our team of experts are positioned to support your productivity and efficiency needs with this versatile product. Please contact us today at 651.452.8452 or email us to learn more about this or any of our product offerings.
