Highlighting James Kirk
This week, one of John Henry Foster’s (JHF) Electrical Engineer’s – James Kirk – is in Wixom, MI for Kawasaki training. Kawasaki is one of an assortment of industrial robot lines that JHF carries. The training courses James will be focusing on include robot operation, programming, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance and D/E controller robot system integration.
James started working at JHF in September, 2017 and works with the Robotic Automation team. He was born near Chicago and grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois. When he was 10, his family moved to Rushford, Minnesota for his Dad’s mechanical engineering career. Eventually, the family settled in Hastings, MN. Growing up, James wanted to work on medical machines at the Mayo and ended up going to NDSU for electrical engineering. However, his first job out of college allowed him to work on electrical controls and a new love was born. He has been able to utilize his electrical controls knowledge in a handful of different industries since graduating.
James’ hobbies include street pedal biking (he built his own bike), playing video games, computer programming and he is an Anime enthusiast. He also volunteers at a local annual Anime conference where there are around 6,000 fans in attendance.
While you might not get James this week when you call 651.452.8452 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, you can be sure our team of experts are positioned to support your productivity and efficiency requirements with robotic automation.
