Employees participate in Robot Day educating kids about the future of automation.

National Robotics Week

The Automation team at John Henry Foster shared their passion for robots during National Robotics Week by presenting two “robotic” stations at The Works Museum during Robot Day on Saturday, April 11, 2015. The Works’ mission is to inspire the next generation of innovators, engineers, and creative problem solvers.

Once a year, The Works Museum offers Robot Day. This is a time for youth to explore robots of all shapes and sizes: industrial, cobots, and more. Youth learn about robotics used in businesses and universities, see student-built robots in action, and more STEM-related fields. They also get to meet the engineers and students who build and compete with their robotic innovations. It’s a day full of hands-on fun with our robotic friends and helpers.

John Henry Foster shared its Candy Grabber and Ball Shooter! These two interactive displays are meant to challenge and engage kids in subjects such as science, technology, innovation and engineering and make learning memorable and fun.
